CALL FOR PAPERS

 

Pomoerium - Studia et commentarii ad orbem classicum spectantia (ISSN 0945-2354; online available at: http://pomoerium.com/pomoer.htm), invites contributions for volumes 5 and 6.

The journal aims to contribute to the exploration and understanding of social-economic processes in the classical antiquity and provides an interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of their various aspects. Topics may include but are not limited to the following: ancient history, classical philology, linguistics, law, religion, philosophy, numismatics, archaeology, anthropology. Articles on classical antiquity in Italy are particularly welcome.

Articles may be written in English, French, German, Italian or Spanish. Please consider submitting a paper, book review, annotated bibliography etc. Texts must be submitted by e-mail and accompanied (articles) by an abstract of no more than 150 words.

Deadline for completed texts is respectively May 15, 2002 and September 30, 2003, however submissions are encouraged at all times and will be considered for the next upcoming issues. Contributions will appear in both the print and electronic editions (as full-text in PDF format).
